Job Description

Prepare and process journal entries for miscellaneous
accounts that may include AP, AR, GL, Inventory, investments, intercompany and other financial
transactions. Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of account balances and proper
accounting treatment of transactions. Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
including, reconciliations, adjusting entries. Prepare worksheets, financial statements, and reports to
provide management with information for decision making, and to ensure that all reporting
requirements are satisfied. Monitor changes in IFRS, local US GAAP and company Accounting
Policies as they relate to assigned area of responsibility. Work closely with other branch team to
continuously improve efficacy handoffs or transitions of work. Maintain and balance subsidiary
accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling and resolving discrepancies. Prepare combined
financial statements including Balance Sheets, Statements of Income, Statement of Changes in
Stockholders’ Equity and Statements of Cash Flows. Establish, document, and perform internal control
procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Resolve complex reconciling issues and
discrepancies and make corrective adjustments. Performs monthly reconciliation of bank statements.
Continuously identify process efficiencies and improve effectiveness. Adapt & apply latest technology
available to automate finance & accounting activities. Prepare and analyze financial data related to
operating expenses, capital expenses and Cash Flow. Analyze & report budget variances to provide
Management with required information for action.

 

Job Requirements

Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or (US Equivalent). Must have 3 years of accounting
experience including previous supervisory experience handling complex and large amount of financial
data accurately and efficiently. Experience in Financial statements preparation, Ad Hoc reporting,
Account analysis and reconciliations, monthly & year-end closing activities and internal audit. Strong
understanding of AR, AP, General ledger, P&L statements, balance sheet, Inventory Accounts,
Accounts reconciliation, Accrual and Planning and budgeting. Experience with Oracle ERP system and
J.D. Edwards. 20% International travel required. Applicant must have proof of legal authority to work
in the United States. 40 hours per week, M-F, 9:00am -5:00pm .
